Hometour: a romantic Scandinavian interior with a bohemian touch

Transport yourself into the Scandinavian interior from Inge, with a bohemian touch here and there. She lives in this gorgeous house with her son. Can you use some inspiration for a fresh restyle of your interior? Then take a look inside and get inspired!

Romantic Scandinavian

Romantic Scandinavian

Inge and her son Jace live in a corner house in Ochten. This lovely house has a large garden where they can often be found during the spring and summer months. But it’s also a celebration indoors! The fresh look of her interior gives you a summer vibe. "Someone recently described my style as romantic Scandinavian," says Inge. And that is exactly what her interior style is. A white base with Scandinavian furniture and some bohemian influences here and there with souvenirs from vacations. "There is a wicker lamp by the bank from Marrakech and an elephant's head from a previous holiday in Jace's room."

Since Inge moved to her current house, she has been able to design her home to match her own taste. So it’s not for nothing that Inge manages the web shop and takes care of online marketing for an interior brand. For four years she also regularly posts photos of her own interior via her Instagram account @stijlinge. That is how the ball started rolling and she now has a large group of followers and her own blog. That makes Inge a real interior lover!

“It's such a nice big and light space with just the right colours and products”.

If Inge could choose a favourite place in the house it is the bedroom. "It's such a nice big and light space with just the right colours and products." The peacock chair steals the show and adds a bohemian touch to the Scandinavian base. And as an eye-catcher, Inge has an IXXI enlargement of a photo of Jace made in Marrakech. “A reminder that will never be forgotten and not at all now :). The IXXI is a beautiful combination of a beautiful building, gorgeous colours and Jace”. In addition to the enlargement in the bedroom, Inge also has the Botanicals IXXI hanging above the sofa. “It’s a beautiful image of anemones in shades of grey, which keeps the look calm. If I want a bit more colour, I just turn it around. It’s such a great decoration that fits perfectly in any interior."
