Art in Maps

The Dutch illustrator and artist Jorick van Raalten launched Kunst in Kaart as a graduation project. What began in 2015 as a decorative map of the Tour de France in Utrecht quickly grew into an international webshop featuring thousands of cities in dozens of (drawing) styles. From sleek, illustrated, and artistic maps to line drawings, illustrations, and photography of the world's most iconic buildings and landmarks, Jorick combines data visualization and cartography to uniquely and artistically map the world.
