John Reeves

John Reeves is well-known as an English naturalist and was appointed as inspector of tea by the East India Company in 1808. An enthusiastic amateur natural scientist! He recorded a range of plants and animals in that period. The finest examples of his work are stored in the Natural History Museum in London.
