Igor Swinkels

Igor Swinkels (1966) is a staged photographer who completed his photography training at the Hans Götze Photo Academy in Haarlem (1991). After many years of working extensively in commercial photography, he gradually lost some of his original passion for the medium, but fortunately rediscovered it through art photography. His new series of contemporary still lifes, inspired by the Old Masters, is a beautiful result of this renewed love.
