ARTCLAUD is the name under which Claudia Coppen creates her art. As a graphic designer and illustrator, she has always had a deep love for color, imagery and experimentation. With ARTCLAUD, she gives herself the freedom to step outside the boundaries of graphic design and, above all, to discover what happens when you look at reality just a little differently. Her work is colorful, playful and often slightly surreal. She draws inspiration from landscapes, people, nature and everyday images, but likes to give them an unexpected twist. For her, a landscape doesn't have to be realistic, and a color doesn't have to match reality. It's precisely by playing with color, shapes, proportions and different styles that images emerge which throw you off balance, just a little. Digital techniques and AI play an important role in her creative process. Claudia finds it fascinating to combine traditional visual language with new technology, and sees endless possibilities in it for experimenting and discovering new ideas. She loves to create work that first draws you in through color and atmosphere, but that then keeps you looking a little longer, because there's always something new to discover. For Claudia, ARTCLAUD is above all about staying curious, experimenting and seeing the world in a slightly different light.
