That makes “large” not a separate version here but simply more rows. What does change at scale is how you look at it and how you hang it.
At what size does it really change?
There is no tipping point in centimetres, but there is one in behaviour. Once a piece is wider than the furniture beneath it, it is no longer decoration beside the sofa — it is the wall, and it sets the room.
That has two consequences worth knowing before you order.
You look at it from further away
A large surface is something you take in from across the room, not from a metre away. That changes what works:
- Clear compositions hold up. One strong image, a distinct pattern, plenty of contrast.
- Fine detail disappears. What is beautiful at half a metre falls flat at five.
Images with a lot of detail are the ones to zoom into: take a crop instead of the whole image, and there is still something to look at once it is large. In the collection you set the crop yourself on any design.
Something large hangs differently
The system stays the same — wall clips and power strips, no drilling — but a large surface means more weight and more area. Two things that help:
- More power strips, spread across the surface rather than only along the edges.
- Work from the top down. On a large IXXI there is no straightening anything halfway.

Making an IXXI you already have larger
You do not have to start large. An IXXI already on the wall can be extended with single cards or with an expansion kit — small or large — with the cards that are up staying up.
That is also a way to begin when you do not yet know how big you want it: start small, add a row later.
Two things that live elsewhere
Scale comes back in two places where it means something slightly different:

Why adaptable wall decoration
You click light, tear-proof cards together with X-connectors and hang them without drilling. Size and design are yours to set. At scale that is the difference from a print made to measure: you are not stuck with the choice, because you can add a row later or change the image.
